This is an amazing shot, I love the contrast of the colours in the sky. It look so peaceful.

its just a single image or bracketed?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

shuttermonkey In reply to blazeer [2007-05-08 20:19:48 +0000 UTC]

....well it was bracketed however i didnt have a tripod so one of the three images was misaligned so it involved a little more work

Thank you

That is beautiful. The tree bugs me a little though, because it looks almost digitally rendered. But this is a very good job. Thumbs up to you!

Cory, I assume it is a tree laying there ? I had one tiny suggestion, try to highlight that part just a little , not too much, just to show a bit more detail. I like the rest of the picture, very nice color and light !

Cory do you use CS2 ?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

shuttermonkey In reply to hellfirediva [2007-05-03 04:50:11 +0000 UTC]

i use Adobe Photoshop 7.0 why do you ask?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

hellfirediva In reply to shuttermonkey [2007-05-03 04:55:22 +0000 UTC]

Because it has a simple highlight thing , when you go under image , adjust , highlight ( or something similar like that ) there you can easily put a bit more highlights in the picture. I am not sure about 7 though I never used it . But if it has that option check it out

Maybe use dodge on the bottom a bit more? I like the darkness, but I feel the need to see more detail on the lower part of the rock.
