Asher is the type of person is always in the wrong place at the wrong time. He's tends to be rather misfortunate but that never really stops him, only hinders him for that instant. Asides from that, Asher is the voice of "over reason," he tends to not want to partake in anything and is deemed "cowardly" because of his paranoia. He's also tends to be very tired throughout the day; he became an insomnia due to worrying about things and paranoia that someone is out to get him. Even though he's unlucky most of the time, he's quite caring of others (especially children) and will always put others before himself (making him even more tired.

Backstory:

A few years before Asher moved into the city, he used to live in another one and his life was more than sucky. At the time, he was living with his brother, who made him do most of the shopping and chores; had a crappy job with crappy co-workers and crappy boss; and a girlfriend who basically mooched off of him. On top of that, he had chronic insomnia, due to aniexty and stress.
Life was not fun, but he decided that nothing could get any worse. But, it did. His girlfriend cheated on him, he got fired from his job, and his brother decided that he wanted a better roommate and kicked him out.

"Well, I was going to move out anyways...." and thus moved to the current city.

Life was slowly turning around for him. He found a nice apartment, with a pretty good job. He smiled to himself, content about his living situation. He finally felt that his life was getting better. He was even sleeping better.
Sadly, that didn't last too long.

One night, on one of the few nights that he was able to sleep, Asher had a dream. He himself, was in an abandon building and saw children running all over the place. He found it quite odd and decided to follow one of them. As the child turned the corner, he heard a blood curling scream. He didn't see exactly what happened, but he just saw a bloody hand fly in front of him, blood splattered on the floor. Asher's eyes widened as he fell to the ground. As he was about to scream. He woke up. It was just a dream. Asher relaxed his body and laughed it off. It wasn't until he felt a prescence next to him. He turned around and saw two ghost like children in front of him. As the children talked, Asher was confused as to what was going on. It wasn't until he took the boy's hand that the girl disappeared and he saw the vision of the boy's past.

"What just...." He shook his head and then suddenly saw the piece of paper. He read it and sighed. "Shit, why do I...." He then remembered the fear on the boy's face during the vision. He took a deep breathe and nodded. "Let's go."
He quickly changed and walked outside his apartment. He then remembered that he needed a weapon. He ran down the stairs trying to think of something until he saw a fireaxe on the wall. "Better than nothing." He said as he yanked it off and ran towards the school.
