Another better art of Miku in my pastel-y style!! I wanted to draw her looking shy because timid characters are fun to draw! <3 And they look really cute uwuAnd don't worry, I'm not going to be drawing only Miku anymore. I have plans to draw some of the other vocaloids, including my favourites like IA and Gumi c; (I'd also love to draw Aoki Lapis sometime! Her design is gorgeous <33)
Ofc I'll still want to draw Miku, but I'd like to branch out a little! I have lots of plans to draw other characters (and take a break from drawing my OCs so much) from lots of other series <3
Oh btw, I forgot to mention! The part of her legs at the bottom is inspired by Ene from Kagepro. I just didn't want to draw a fullbody and since Miku is also technically a program I thought it would look cool! <3

I bought my coloured pens with the intention to help me study tho! At least, that's what I told my parents hahaha I don't know if you can find similar, but the ones I bought were legit meant for studying, or making colourful notes. They're 0.3mm so they're great for doing either. Maybe that can be your super secret excuse for buying them?? :^)
I'm so glad to hear that!! I wanna very line width more 'cause it looks prettier! I have to practise with these pens tho, 0.3mm is harder to vary line width than 0.1 or 0.05mm... //sigh
I absolutely love pastel colours!! <3 It's actually not too hard; just use light colours and never use dark if you wanna go full pastel theme. So instead of black, use grey or a dark-ish blue, and instead of red, use a dark-ish pink etc. I just buy lots of pastel coloured copic markers to do the job c':

I usually use 0.1 but i'm trying to try out 0.3 and 0.5 cuz I have some and it'll be a waste if I dont use them lolol
Idk my mindset when colouring is like... adding dark colours so i always fail at pastels xDD

what's happening to her feet? it's like they're disappearing, like a program being deleted or something... or something glitching... I don't really know how to describe it :'D it looks like her body is like turning into those little pixel square things ;u;
I think the coloring looks great! The sparkles in her hair look cool. I especially like how you did the thighs and knees, they look really good!

I forgot to mention actually! I'll add this to the description now. Since Miku is kind of a program, I thought it would be cool to have that effect since it's like you said, she's being deleted? (I should really do something with that idea someday bc it sounds really interesting!) Anyway it's inspired by Ene from the Kagerou Project who is also a program and doesn't... have feet. It's a bit weird xD

Oh, well Ene was based on Miku anyway so that's understandable! c: Her hair and colour scheme, mostly, are what really resemble Miku imo. Apparently Ene's original design was even more similar, so.. yea. cx This is random trivia, but since the Kagerou Project is a story told entirely from Vocaloid songs with music videos depicting the story, it would make sense that they had characters based on the Vocaloids used in the songs. <3
Sparkly hair, you mean? (Sorry I'm a bit lost haha ^^') .. if that's what you're referring to, I just copy some artists who do it really well. That's mostly how I learn to improve, really, using a lot of references all the time <3
