This strange idea came up to my mind when i started a butterfly study.. I took a book with different animals and insects and found what will my drawing consist of.. couple of hours and here it is))) hope you'll like it)

Well, there are a few ideas... First of all, eye is always connected to the soul in our minds, and the soul is often depicted as a butterfly or many butterflies. So I kinda put it together and mix it up.. And another one is that I thought - what if we had not just eyelashes, but something more interesting, mysterious... And while I was doing a sketch I saw that I don't actually want to see the rest of the face here, just the eye and wings of butterflies. Something like that))

I like this very much, and am very impressed with your colored pencils skills. The colors look so smooth, and are blended very well. The concept is original, and very interesting. I love the way you lit the eye. This is a fabulous deviation. I like it very much.
