Wolf pups OCs from my original comic, 'The Ashenguard Wolf'.
All but Soul have shown up within the seven pages I have done on this comic...
I really been wanting to get back to this comic! Which is why I drew these little guys. x'D

If you were wondering about the ethnicity thing, it does matter
which region in Ashenguard the wolf comes from, different regions have different fur pelts
that are more common then other regions. Just click for more details about that. : )

Why a wolf has blue eyes?:
A large chuck of the wolves in Ashenguard are mixed with dogs
and foxes and sometimes other canines, so there are some cases of
wolves having blue eyes, curled tails, longer ears, bushier/longer tails,
and floppy ears because of traits pasted down from dog or fox ancestors.
It is actually more rare for there to be any pure breed wolves in Ashenguard.

Oh my gosh, the pups look so cute! I love all of their markings and it's so nice to see Soul again ^_^ Those stripes on his back really fit well for him and so do those blue eyes. Looking forward to seeing more of these little guys in the future and how they'll be as adults.
Also, that's a nice explanation on why some of the wolves in the story aren't going to necessarily look like 'pure' wolves. Nice example of worldbuilding!

Heh, it is a good idea. It gives a more realistic approach (with the genetics and family history) on why the wolves have doggy traits. Smart move!

Their names do have meanings that play on their characters, abit.
Nadie means Wise. Onishi means Serious-minded(Among other things).
Both Andar's and Endy's don't really have meanings, they are just fantasy sort of names. xD
Elkhazel also doesn't have much of a meaning, but picked because I feel like it matches
her timid nature and pelt coloring. : ) And Soul, well... yeah. lol. xP
