Oh god. This picture. DxI had to work on it two-four hours at a time and it was painful. And I did this for like 20-ish days. Oh god.
I can only hope it paid off. Geezus Crystoph.
I think I learned a lot about shading in this picture regardless.
Thanks Michelle for looking at this and its WIPs so many times XD lolBut yeah! These two are Garry and Ib from the horror game Ib! I wanted to draw Ib fanart for a long time and I finally have! 8 u 8 While watching pewdiepie's playthrough I noticed the Aspiration Painting and partially based this picture off of it as well as off of the Moon Painting in the Hide and Seek Puzzle.

The girl is supposed to be nine while the guy is...18 or so. I can't draw little kids so I ended up making her look short. But yeah, I should probably work on drawing kids in the future.

First of all: nice piece of work. I like the overall idea, composition, and the character design. And I think you especially did a great job on the shading.
There are, however, a few things that came to mind when I saw this picture, and I hope my critique can be helpful pointing things out you might not have noticed ^^
First of all, I miss the feet. Because of the difference in length between the boy and the girl, I'm guessing the guy stands on a higher platform than the girl, but I can't see it, because it's blocked by clouds.
And the clouds beneath are pretty much what's bothering me. They make the artwork feel a bit unfinished, and make it seem like you can't draw feet somehow (just like beginning artists always seem to hide 'hands' because they can't draw them).
As for the anatomy. I think you did great, except for the hangs. Especially the hands of the guy seem to miss a bit of depth. Same goes for the hands of the girl, whose fingers are a bit on the long side. I know I'm nitpicking with this, but I felt like I had to say this, because the rest of your anatomy looks really great!
