Quickish drawing of Emmy and Max the Dragon Tales kids! Of course older because I don't want to draw kids. Me and my brother are the dragon tales. Youngest brother is Max and he is officially way taller than me.ย

I so envy the kids who came after me that got to grow up with this show. I was already in 4th grade when Dragon Tales first came on the air, but knowing me and my eternal love for dragons, I have no doubt I would have loved it if I had grown up with it.ย I love how you have adult Emmy wearing a dragon scale as a pendant and gave adult Max a dragon tattoo on his upper arm just like I have!

You know why there won't be a reboot?
Ron Rodecker, born in 1930, is a retired teacher and artist who currently does paintings of his dragons and Dragon Land for a living.
From 1999 to 2005 he was a producer of the series, and one of the main reasons of why Dragon Tales got canceled is that he felt he couldn't keep up with the work pace due his age and, mostly, his health related to his heart. We must understand he had a coronary bypass surgery 40 years ago (1978).
Besides, the voice actors and producers that had worked on the series are in 'other adventures', and Ron Rodecker himselfย could had opposed to the ideas of reboots, despite Dragon Tales proved to be a cash cow back in the day.
Mr.Rodecker has a reason to say no to reboots; he makes a profit from his paintings.

They're using cgi so hopefully it ain't crappy like allot of modern cartoon cgi shows. Then again allot of the original people are returning so hopefully they'll keep everyone else working on it in line.

Woohoo! Super recent Dragon Tales fan art! Even though these characters are not real, you gave them life by extending their childhood story into their futures.
