Well, the ladder leads to a cloud, and those are usually quite up high, that's why the ladder is so long. ^^

What I meant was that I sympathize with the ladder being so long - I feel like I'm on a long ladder to get to the dream, too. It's much longer than I thought it would be when I started.

That, and the fact that I'm ladders really scare me because I'm afraid of height (<- do you say it that way?), which makes climbing a long ladder even worse...

You got it right - afraid of heights. Everyone is a little, in some way, that's what makes it such a long ladder to get to your dreams - right? I had a teacher who used to say that if you can walk on a 2x4 piece of wood when its on the ground, then its just the same if its up in the air... he meant that if you can climb the first rung on the ladder, each step is just the same thing again. It was supposed to make it all look easier but I say the risk is what makes it harder. I know that more is at stake if I fall higher. Sorry, that was long. Good topic.
