They have a certain meaning but mainly I just like the look of them. You can read into them what you want.

I just thought together they made a drug or something, since the title says "Self Destruction".

I like these kinds of art paintings. They remind me a lot of my childhood looking at the skater-like artists that would paint at the skate parks <3

super - I am always diggin your backgrounds on all your pics, would love to see a small tutorial or just some insight as to how you get the look, is is brushes, plug-ins, etc...????

Thanks man, all the backgrounds that I have used on my recent work are all hand painted on water colour paper. They are basically a build up of loads and loads of washes of paint (using watered down Chroma paints, website: [link] ) and then keep adding lines of paint and splashes, so it's mostly all done by hand. I usually do the backgrounds with black paint and then colour them in Photoshop.
