Umm... No. The one who made the tut, had asked specifically not to make another tutorial and claim it as your own/not to make these lil' guys for selling purpose etcetc.

Besides, I just don't have the time for it and it was a one time lil' experiment.

Le meep~

I wouldn't mind selling it for 15$ but, the shipping to us/canada costs ~20$ even for a small package like this...
ok... that sounds extremly odd... I could go by the post office tomorrow and ask how much is the shpping cost for this small sized thing, if you like?

Can I ask how you made the skirt, and how you got it to fan out like that? I just started making the felted dolls, and I don't really know how to approach a Loli skirt. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Si3art In reply to A-C-L [2010-10-11 13:58:51 +0000 UTC]

Well, I started it like a cone leaving the skirt part wider/bigger. Then I felted the skirt part thinner... Gah I dunno... Isnt it quite obvious enough?

Just poke the felt with the needle until you get the desired shape. There really no rules how to felt it, the main thing is that in the end you get the desired shape.

A-C-L In reply to Si3art [2010-10-12 02:27:52 +0000 UTC]

Ok, cool. I kept looking at it, and that's what I thought you might have done, but I wasn't sure so I figured I'd ask. Thanks.

Cute! For some reason I like loli-cats and yours is awesome. I love the lace look on her clothes. I saw the tutorial, and it's interesting though I don't know anything about making felt plushies so some parts confused me. (I don't have any exprience with plushie-making in general) When she said, "felt with a needle" how do you do that? It looked like she just "stabbed" the felt. Is that how you get the stuff to hold? If so, then that seems pretty easy. Sorry if I'm ignorant... I'm just really interested in making these. Can you help?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Si3art In reply to A-C-L [2010-08-22 09:51:05 +0000 UTC]

Sorry for the late reply.

Yup, you just "poke" or "stab" the felt with that needle and felt will hold in a form you... well... "stab" it.

It is easy. I was stunned by needle felting too when I first saw this.
Ofcourse I can help.

First of all you need the felting needle and some felt. Usually these supplyes are sold at handcraft stores. Do you have one of those? Or do u even know what that needle looks like?
Well, do you have the materials to begin with?

A-C-L In reply to Si3art [2010-08-22 16:23:13 +0000 UTC]

Thanks for the help. I don't have the supplies yet, but I was told of a site called thefeltedewe.com, and it's really convenient because it's got all the supplies in one place.

Si3art In reply to A-C-L [2010-08-23 12:09:56 +0000 UTC]

Hmm... Yup, everything you need is there.
Well, first you need to get the supplies and then you can go on.
