Contest: "Future Fashion" by #GrellSutcliff-FC and #Sebastian-Fanclub [link] Media: watercolours, black markers no. 0.05; 0.1; 0.3 and white acrylic Size: A4 Time: sketch ~5-6 hours..., lineart ~1,5 hours, colouring ~8 hoursNjaa~ Sebas-chan~ I look much cuter than any of those kittens, neh~ β₯

Well... The theme was to draw Sebastian and Grell in modern clothes, so here ya go~
The theme looked very tempting and I just had to draw it. :> Hope I wasnt too ooc with the posing... And the clothes. O.OOh yea, I was kinda in a hurry finishing it on time, so~ no bg. :I And the round thingyes were supposed to be sth like garden decorations. x)
But Grell was super fun to draw~ <3

This is truly amazing! I love the control you have over those mediums, especially watercolors! I may have to do Grell's outfit as a cosplay <3!
Any tips on making the watercolors not want the artist to bash their head in?

Waith, what? Srsly?! A cosplay out of this?! THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME!
Hmm... Well, definetly you need patcience.
Id suggest to make the first layer a light one and see how overall all the colours fit together with eachother and then, when the layer is dried, start with a second darker colour layer. Definetly keep distance between wet ares to avoid colours "bleeding" into each other. Even if they do "bleed" or go out of the lines, you can always use a bit of white acrylic to fix it. (mix the acrylic together with the neccesary watercolour tone) :> And in the very end retrace some of the most important lines.
Ehh... Anything else?
Its mostly a "trial-and-error" method and you never really know how it turns out in the end. :I

I love it omgg ! I can't believe someone is so good to mkae osmething so beautiful and even with watercolors! how come you didn't scr*wed a bit ( not like I wanted you to but .. for me is strange ! XD) and is soooo goood ! you say the anatomy is a bit off but hey I 'd like MY anatomby to be a bit off like that X3 and thaanks for prooving my theory : Grell and Sebastian look good in boot even nowadays !

Lol, then I think you havent looked around in DA enough. There are plenty of amazingly skilled watercolourists here.

Nope, I used only solid watercolours (no watercolour pencils) and first I inked, then coloured and then inked some parts again.
