The shrine

Beyond the sacred forest,venture through the swamp and you will have reached the elephant crater. Climb down to the crater and make
your way through the fog until it is so thick that you can't even breathe anymore. Trudge through it until you reach the foot of the mountain. If you are lucky
you might come across a small opening in the mountain. Enter it to find the Stairs of Devotion. It is a steep climb of ten thousand stairs.If you manage
to climb it , you would have made it to the lost catacombs.
As you Enter the catacombs, you can smell the burning incense. The smoke of the incense itself is said to have divine properties that lets you have a glimpse of truth of the universe. But that is not what you are here for.
Make your way to the Shrine to find the Mark maker. Tread carefully and approach the pedestal. Leave your Offering on the pedestal and light diyas around it. If he thinks you are worthy, he will let you ask one question. Be specific and dont speak in metaphors.
Even though he looks divine and sits amidst a temple, he is no God. It is said that he is obsessed with noting down every single thing to have ever existed and ever will. Nobody knows how long has he been sitting there for filling pages after pages,the blue prints of the universe.It never ends. Maybe all he longs for is the end of existence itself or a back massage.
