Ken's greatest dream is to be able to work as a scientist in ORBiT, the R and D facility of Anazao. But after he lost his family to the meteorite hit that destroyed sector 256, he wowed to take care of Alan and Sia who were also orphaned in this catastrophe. But as a rule set by the Government of Anazao, adults that wanted to raise children below 18yrs of age, were required to have certain standard of living to support the healthy growth and education of the child. In case they fell short of these standards in the future the children were sent to ORBiT Hope. Since Sia and Alan were both underage Ken had to work hard to earn enough, so that they are not taken away to ORBiT HOPE.
Further anyone who wanted to become a scientist in ORBiT, had to submit an invention which is patented on his or her name.
So to take care of Sia and Alan aswell as to achieve his dream of becoming a scientist, Ken needed money.
He was eventually offered the job of an assassin by a mysterious man named Gerard. Since Gerard said that he could fund Kens research, Ken agreed to take up the job. During his mission he stumbles upon a secret of the government, that completely topples his life.
