Description Took this photo when I was 7 years old in rural central Spain. The horse lived on its own in a field - a farmer looked after it. I wish I could've done something more with the pic - other than make it black and white - but I just didn't know what.. I hope it conveys some of the damned passion that horse had though, she was so intense.

Thank you very much I think photos of animals are cliched and overused.. I mean it's easy to make an animal look sweet, or whatever.. but sometimes, when you can see their spirit, it's special, and you just have to make a tangible memory of it - by taking a photo.

I cant think of anyway to improve on this.... just a touch out of focus but that seems to add to the aged look.
There is no one trick I can think of to capture spirit or passion in an image.

The picture conveys everything that you are trying to say. The way that you colored it makes it seem like the horse is in a perfect world, yet is so alone within the confines of it. It is a very powerful piece.
