I have to admit, this is one of the best photographs I've ever seen, and believe me, I've seen a lot.

I don't know if it has to do with my current mood, but I find this picture completely magic, full of serenity. It has a smooth feeling behind it, and as I always say, the best photographs are the ones that cause us sensations.

I specially like the way the bushes are positioned. If there was wind, you captured it very well, we can really tell. The overall simplicity is in fact the key factor for this photograph to cause such an impact. I'd love to point out negative aspects about it (as I believe they're the most important to mention), but I really can't find any that relevant. Congratulations!

Keep up the good work!

Hi, first of all I'd like to thank you for this positive (fair, to my guess, then ! ).

There's a saying in french, "pourquoi faire simple quand on peut faire compliquΓ©?", which means "why do simple when we can do complicated?". This shot was kind of a mislearning of the saying.

The magic was out there, the sun was setting, and some gusts of wind were blowing. So much for the serenity however, because in my back the highway was roaring with the traffic of an end of a working day.

According to you I managed to quote this magic with a bit of serenity too. I'm glad you could enter the image in such a way, and I agree with you when you say that the best photographs are the ones that cause us sensations.

Thanks again for the attention you gave to this picture.

You're welcome, and thanks for explaining me your point of view I could never imagine there was an highway behind though, that surprised me But hey, if there wasn't any humans in the world, wouldn't calm and serenity be all over the place?

Cheers!

Yes they would, and yet nobody to tell they are... Thus they wouldn't exist, for lack of chaos to contrast with...

Well this is done, I don't usually request critiques for works which only popped out of spontaneous shots, but you are free now to do so...

Sometimes the most spontaneous shots are the most beautiful, and even though they weren't carefully planned, there's always something to point out

Well I guess that you're right. But images like this one don't enter some of my long term projects and, in some way, could just claim "I was there" - a diary...
