this started out as a test to see if their colours worked properly together (they do, yay!), but then i thought, "why not make a wallpaper out of it?", so here we are.from left to right:
ignobility, sinky sigh, sour apples, midnight glow, brazen spite, and gloomy glob.

Nice concepts for each of the Elements of Discord. I like to imagine that these are pony-shaped spirit constructs of Discord, to try to discourage the Mane Six at some level... if they aren't Bizarro world versions of the Mane Six.

why not just use the seven deadly sins? they could still be the same personality. they match. just add another one. a male, for lust and you have the elements of discord.

I have my own evil counterparts they each represent the seven deadly sins. The leader of them Daybreak Flare represents pride,Monochrome Frost is Sloth,Bitter Rot is envy,Havoc Fury is wrath,Lack Luster is greed,Moonlight Blues is gluttony and Diminish the imp represents lust.

Because there are six elements, and we need an exact opposite to the elements. The sins themselves aren't perfect counterparts.
