ORIGINAL SIZE OF WORK : 16" X 20"

its hard to say where this belongs. However it is an abstracted horse. it was originally based of the designs on viking doors, where animals were long abstracted forms entwined with background details. instead here in blue horse i used the basic curves of the animal then gave sharp lines inside the body to move away from the smoothness line in viking art to almost a cubist style of harsh pointed lines. the background has one of my own stylistic traits depicted as the swirling trees or vines behind the creature on the foreground. other than that i tried to give a receding or realistic sense to the remaining parts of the image.
