as someone so kindly explained:
"Someone took something he said in his coop with jack out of context and made him look like a lady hater. They're saying he "condones violence against women" because he believes that if a man is assaulted by a woman he should be able to defend himself and hit her back. What they're forgetting (apparently) is that he IMMEDIATELY said that no one should be hitting anyone. Just another case of tumblr taking shit out of context."

I see, people are just dumb, they should realize that he is an entertainer and that everything he says is a joke, unless he says otherwise. Seriously, there are more things people need to worry about than what someone says as a joke. Not to mention, look at all the good Mark does, do they really think that he'd be a bad person?

This is a beautiful picture, well done! I didn't watch the video, nor do I care what he said or if he even meant it. Personally, I held my breath after his "History of America" video because I was terrified people would take it out of context and he would receive a lot of hate from it. The fact that nothing substantial came of it just proves what a wonderful community he has, and that he was willing to write a letter of apology to someone over something as pointless as this only shows that the little things still matter to him and he takes everything seriously. Unfortunately (as Pewdiepie's channel is testament) there will be a point when his channel is large enough that the community may spiral out of control, and this sort of thing will become commonplace.

same here. i went back to rewatch it and i can tell you now he didn't even say anything wrong. just goes to show how modest this man is - writing an apology for something he didn't even say... i hope this community doesnt spiral out of control because we have the potential to do so much good in the world when we unite!

The fact that I haven't seen this on Tumblr makes me happy that the people I follow wouldn't believe he would mean it that way. I feel bad for him, he doesn't deserve any hate for a misunderstanding.
