To celebrate the return of Darkwing Duck to Disney comics, I doodled up some DW's because...well, maybe you'll see more of him from me in the future!If you missed out on the comic series from a few years back, you're in luck! A new Treasury is coming out and is available for pre-order here:

It collects all the past issues, including the DW Annual that I had the pleasure of working on.
Go and pick it up, it's tons of comics for super cheap. Drawn by the amazing James Silvani, with revamped colours and dialogue!

Ooooh. Now that is nice doodling. Even the cheeks are feathered. (Paper or Tablet, results would be near same. Am gonna guess Sibsy more comfortable and quicker with Tab.)

Some company called Joe Books got the license. They haven't done much...at least, not yet.

A clue! Playing DW junior detective found -->Joe Books --> old Lone Star Comics(buy/sell comics), expanding to comic publishing.
Strange Disney not using Marvel for publishing the comics.
But James Silvani on board for DW. Should be interesting.

For some reason, I always assumed you worked on those DW comics that came out a few years ago.
Anyway, great control over his expressions here.Β Looking forward to seeing whatever else you do with the character!Β I just might have to consider that treasury collection as well; that's not a bad price at all for 400 pages.
