I just had the urge to clean and colour my fave dragon from that page o' sketches.Feel free to not comment or fave, cause really....it's nothing new.

It takes longer to clean up than colour, that's for sure.
Usually an hour, or just under to clean up)...maybe half hour to colour?
I never really keep track...and it really depends on my mood too...I usually hate tightening up my stuff.

Phew. For some reason I assumed that for a practiced artist stuff like that would take no time at all.
I certainly need to take more time with cleaning up and coloring my art.

what brush are you using to get that great weight in your outlines? is it in Photoshop?

I use sketchbook pro on my cintiq

thanks. I use Photoshop CS3 and havent really found anything that has that much weight too it.

Yea, I usually only use Photoshop to colour stuff or add textures for fun
All my drawing, and I mean ALL my drawing is done in Sketchbook Pro.

huh. i guess i should look into it. I'm really into that jeff smith look and I see a lot of that in your drawings 
thing is i'm too lazy to pull out a real brush and use india ink.
