I'd be curious to know what mad logic they'd use to make that possible. I'm pretty sure M Night broke it beyond repair...

ha I think if he is going to make a second one he would have to do it illegally if nickelodeon don't allow to appear on screen. Run M. Night run the Avatards are out to get you.

It was terrible. I adore the animated series too...The director (I'm not going to even try to write his last name; M. Night Sy...something) hasn't made anything worthwhile since The Sixth Sense and Signs. Love this. x

I just saw the trailer on TV yesterday and I have to admit that they make it look enticing. However I'm told the actual movie is nothing like the way the trailer makes it out to be.

Well yes, it's M Night Shamtastic. which in my book means it's not going to be good.
Daniel and I started watching the series on Netflix Instant. It's pretty good so far. Definitely for kids, but I can see parents being able to watch it with them.

The movie was truly awful. I have been an avatar fan since the beginning and I knew when i first heard about a live action movie there were going to be problems. But i thought "Hey this might not be so bad after all."
I didn't walk into the theater expecting to be blown away but I was absolutely horrified by what I saw. The actors were weird and the only one worth watching was Dev Patel (Zuko). Even the actors who were decent had horrible lines... Iroh was a fairly cool character but towards the end of the movie he was giving the weirdest lines. It just felt so awkward!
And the name changes! The name changes nearly drove me to the nut house!
I think the fact that the movie was live action and starting over again (INSTEAD OF ANIMATED AND TELLING US WHERE ZUKO'S MOTHER IS!!!) Really messed it up. By using live action instead of animation half of the things that happen are impossible or too expensive to bring in. The movie lost a lot of its magic because things had to look realistic.
If you really want to see it. Rent it on DVD.

I think Mike and Brian need to take a step back and see what has happened. Then they need to get to work animating a fourth season!!!!
Or a movie that explains what happens to everyone! (i wouldn't object to the gaang being a little older) SOMETHING to help the fans get some closure!!!!

If we're lucky the movie might tank hard enough for them to take it back to the animation fold and make the 4th season.
