This is an assignment for Book Illustration Academic ProgramIt's the first 2 pages for Kid Book called "Miracle of Minnie Root"
(Minnie Root = flower)
The story is about next hundreds years
The world is cover by the cloudy and gloomy
The flowers were created by science was stuffed as they are forever
No one knows there's a real seed of flower was kept under the Earth.
My teacher comment that this picture was too dark and too gloomy for kids but I still like it

Actually I have another version
because this work should be the opening page for Kids' Book
I was commented that this tone is too dark for that
So I did another one with bright color, the character was painted with hot color
(yellow and red) and the background was painted with pink and green
It looks more sweetie but I prefer this one better
I'm gonna post that version someday~

but I googled it already (haha)
