Here we go again with another restraint set just in time for the holidays!
Some of you may wonder why so few of the promos for these sets have humans in them any more. I'm pretty sure the reason is that Daz has figured out that so many of you are using these to do kink renders, and they're concerned Paypal will figure it out also. As a result, I have to use primarily monsters, demons, and less sexy aliens in the restraints. You see, it's impossible for goblins, as shown above, to be used in porn.
(Yes, that is very heavy sarcasm. I am fully aware of the Genesis Troll's porn career, because sadly bleach was insufficient to remove those memories from my brain and my medication precludes the use of alcohol. I now accept that a non-trivial percentage of my customer base has kinks that differ from mine in much the way that an iron maiden differs from an armchair.)
Rendered in Daz Studio 4.10 Pro in Iray, postwork for compositing canvases. Shout out to Riversoft Art. It's actually not that easy to tell which of the background figures is 3d and which is a billboard. I'm very happy with Oso3d's Master Shader that I used on the ground as well - originally it was very blurry and flat.

I picked these up right away as they hit the store. Not with any kink in mind, but just because you never know when there might be a need for someone getting captured or abducted. Didn't see this DA post until now (I'm a bit behind catching up on my notifications) and it explains a lot. Also love the sarcasm! We better hope Paypal doesn't learn about objectophelia or things will become really complicated.
I wasn't aware of the Genesis Troll's "adult entertainment career", but I've seen stuff here on DA that I didn't know I didn't want to see before I saw it, so I can very well imagine what the Troll has been up to at places like Renderotica. Now I've learned something new today too.

joking aside I don't recall seeing pictures use that troll for a while now, at least on renderotica. Maybe you should give Renderotica another shot ? There's a lot of less hardcore stuff on there too that's pretty well done that you're missing out on. And considering Tumblr is now dead it's one of the few places one can actually share content for adults. I think there's also settings that you can use to only show you a certain field of things you want to see.
Either way, nice work! your ropes for G3 was one of the first things I picked up when I started.

I don't have much faith in 'rotica as a platform at this point. I tried a product there once and sales weren't good. People might pay for a full set of anatomical bits, but otherwise I don't think they'll pony up for much erotic content. Get it free, yes. Pay for it, no. And then there's the nightmare payment situation wherein Renderotica basically is accepting Paypal by routing payment through a non-adult site in order to hornswoggle Paypal's watchdogs. I'd hate to get established there and then have it come crashing down because Paypal figured out what they're doing.

I fully understand your issues with rotica, They have a lot of issues, many that I don't like either. Sadly they're the only place out there for adult artists right now. As to sales. I bet you won't make as much as you do right now on daz itself. but I was able to get a decent amount of money out of my items there so far. The thing with renderotica is you need to really hit the sweet spot there with your items. if you're a little off it will hurt sales a lot.

No, probably not. I did the vines and ropes set for that, and I haven't seen people using them in renders in the way they do the rougher ropes.

Paypal will not work with adult sites or vendors because of their high rate of returns. So having anything "adult" on your site makes you suspicious to them in a financial sense. We walk a fine line on a lot of stuff.
