Description
It is incredible to see how well the old town has been reconstructed, after being demolished in the War. Most buildings were rebuilt based upon Bernardo Bellotto's paintings, and he often depicted the cityscape more beautiful than it was. Such is the power of art, that during the reconstruction, they followed more his paintings than the real pictures, as they were even more beautiful.Related content
