Height: 55 meters (at the top of the head); 60 meters (at the top of the horn)
Weight: 40,000 tons
Powers: Flight at mach 3; able to fire Napalm Bombs from mouth; can combine hands to form a drill; able to shoot electrical bolts from the top of its horn; can burrow underground at mach 2; extraordinary jumper, capable of leaping at a rate of 10 kilometers per hour; able to travel underwater at mach 4
Megalon is one the Cryog's oldest weapons. The cyborg beetle and his "older brother" Gigan were actually discovered by the Cyrog. Finding use for them, the aliens took them under their tentacles and gave them care. The cyborgs in turn serve the Cryog and do their bidding. Megalon is by far the more powerful of the two. However he's also a complete and udder brute, incapable of making any grand schemes of his own. This does not mean, however, that Megalon is any less dangerous then Gigan; once attacked, he will attack an enemy and show no mercy. Megalon was dispatched by his alien masters long ago. He eventually crashed landed on Earth and began causing great destruction to pave the way for his masters. But unknown to Megalon, he had landed in ancient Okinawa and was confronted by it's guardian: King Caesar! After a long and grueling battle, the shisa emerged victorious and defeated the cyborg, causing him to go into stasis to remain alive. Now in the present day, the Cryog haved honed in on Megalon's location. The time has come for Megalon and Gigan to bring about the Cryog invasion of Earth.
