Description GODZILLA
Ancient Alpha Predator
Height: 350 feet
Length: 550 feet
Weight: 80,500 metric tons
First Sighting: 1954 (officially) near the South Pacific Islands near Japan

Entry from Professor Kozo Fuyutski:
"An ancient alpha predator hailing form a time long before man. Known as Godzilla, or "Gojira" as my teacher, Doctor Daisuke Serizawa, and I know him as. His name comes from an ancient island myth amongst the islanders of the South Pacific coast of my home country Japan. Gojira, according to the legend, was a sea monster whose very name invoked fear in the hearts of even the bravest of men. Godzilla, like other MUTOs (Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organisms) we have on record, lived at time approximately over 300 mya, when the surface of the Earth was ten times more radioactive then today. His kind, and the other species of the time, feed on this radiation as a source of food. Godzilla's species were more than likely the top of the food chain, and would have had no problems with eliminating competition for resources. However, as the radiation levels naturally subsided, Godzilla and others were forced to find new means of gaining sustenance. Godzilla's kind , from what we've been able to gather, took to the seas, feeding from the geothermal vents at the floor of the ocean, where he remained undisturbed (weather the gills were already a part of is species' biology or developed at a later time remains unknown. This requires more study.).  That was until after World War II, when mankind had achieved nuclear capabilities.
Though officially acknowledged by Monarch in 1954, Godzilla appeared shortly after the appearance of another MUTO know as the Shinomura (Japanese meaning "Swarm of death") according to my teacher. The Shinomura made it's existence know to man in 1945 (my teacher), meaning Godzilla must have appeared in or around this same frame of time. In the end, both Godzilla and Shinomura were thought to have been killed in the Castle Bravo test of 1954. Though there were no remains of the Shinomura, Godzilla was not seen. Monarch, though largely governments involved, believed the creature to be deceased. Until more recent years when sightings persisted. However, now after the events of the San Fransisco Battle, the world now knows he exists.
During the battle, a few surviving U.S. military men (including Lt. Shinji Ikari and Cpt. Rei Ayanami Ikari) claimed to have seen Godzilla use an "blue beam of fire" against the MUTOs, something my mentor also claimed to have seen. Mine and Dr. Akagi's theory is that Godzilla is somehow able to expel his radiation stores as a weapon. While this may seem unbelievable, there are several modern species that we know about in nature today that can perform abilities like this. Granted, not to the awe-inspiring such as Gojira's "atomic breath".
My teacher believed that Godzilla is nature's warrior. One who shall rise when the delicate balance of nature is in peril. I have also come to see him as this. I have also come to understand that for everything I learn about him, he still remains a mystery. I've come to the realization that he is a force that no one man can hope to understand in a lifetime. That is why it's both mine and Ritsuko's hope that future generations will continue the study of the "King of the Monsters.""

Man, I wish I could, but all the things I have on my hands right now. Drawing monsters in the Legendary format is something I've tried and I can't do very well, yet. AND I've already have to work on G:ROAD, The M-Force Files, and the KAIJU RISING art I'm Doing for Domenic, I SUPER wish I could help, but too many promises I have and I can't make more until I fulfill the others.

I'm most certainly planning more! Shinomura I might do next. The MUTOs I'm saving for last. The full extent of MONARCH FILES is found in my latest journal entry:sideswipe217.deviantart.com/jo…
