Description

In ancient times, three monsters ravaged Japan - Baragon, Manda and Varan. Varan was said to be the strongest of the three. The men and women responsible for defeating them - the Priests of Yamato - purifed their spirits and made into guardians of Japan, whom the people began to worship. Despite having killed the monsters, the ancient people still prayed for their souls. Named the Guardians of Yamato, they were to suppose to rest until they were needed once again...

So my friend MaxPowers94 asked me if I'd be doing anymore Sailor Moon/Godzilla pieces, and so I figured I'd make this. Now Baragon, Manda and Varan as you can tell are being based off of the GMK inspired origins made popular by Matt Frank's Godzilla Neo. I figured it was the best solution as I didn't really feel like bringing in Mu (my bro KaijuAlpha1point0 would likely do the opposite though lol). Since the Yamato Guardians are part of the old Shinto religion of Japanese culture, and Rei aka Sailor Mars having Shinto heritage would obviously know about them, hence why she's here (used an image from Sailor Moon Crystal).
