ACEO format, 2.5"x3.5"Colored pencil on black paper
2 hours of work drawing, and I don't know how many spent in contemplation...
I drew this specifically for the "The Eyes Have It" contest being held by *BigCats . [link]
When I decided I wanted to draw a piece for this contest, I also decided that I didn't just want to draw a picture of a big cat's eye. I wanted the drawing to say something more. After a bit of thinking, and a lot of browsing, I decided I wanted to draw a cheetah eye with the savanna reflected in it, looking for home.

From the looks of it, it seems like it will take more than two hours to complete. Since you are quite experienced at it the time line is acceptable. Wonderful work on every aspect.
