for his updated design!painted-bees inspired me to finally, after like 12 years of playing Pokémon, make a "trainer sona" LOL
All my characters have the exact same aesthetic but that's never gonna change LOL
All Pokés above are based off in-game Pokemon, Buddy has been with me since the original Gold haha ;v;
A lot of the characteristics of this boyo are based off myself so,, asdfgh
Story TBA, I'm just brainstorming but I have some fun headworld ideas going on
Masons generally really lax now, pretty carefree and just doesn't really give a shit
but if angered to a certain point will fight mercilessly

I've been sort of trying to make me a Trainer sona, but it's hard to decide on a look, expecially now that there's so many customization features in game.
However, my favorite pokemon is Deino, (or Dino is what i always name him after the flinstones' pet) tied with or closely followed by the charmander line, since he was my first. (Usually named Charmer or Ember)

I do have a gym leader sona though! They start off (well I mean their original goal was to be a gym leader in the end) as a flying type gym leader and end up being pulled into the elite four (not my first choice, I just wanted to be a gym leader, but my friends dragged me in xP ) sta.sh/01ts66soqft8 One of my friends designed it. c: I do really love this child ahh <3
But ahhh I would love to design a pokesona based off like the actual pokemon I've used and caught over the years and stuff instead of just like a more ideal thing, y'know?
My current favourite pokemon is phantump tied with bulbasaur and mew (those two have always always been my favourites).
Unless you meant something else by 'who's your favourite pokemon', like for example out of the your pokesonas pokemon my fav is celebi because that expression is amazing.
Or who's your favourite pokemon to battle with, or design wise, or favourite that's been with you for your whole journey etc etc...

Wasn't meant to be anything particuarly special, I just wanted to know what team and type I'd choose if I had to be a gym leader, just started off as boredom that led into more heh. I don't actually remember why my friend drew pidgeot there pfft, like it's on the gym leader's team, but like why that specific poke in the drawing idk? Her team is pidgeot (this one has a megastone), talonflame, drifblim, crobat, togekiss and yanmega. I could go into specifics on moves and everything, but that'd make this way too long!

I meant like going through my games (or trying to remember my favourite playthroughs) and whittling a list of pokes down to six to use for the team of a poketrainer sona when I make it!
I do actually have several ocs that I use the names of for some playthroughs and imagine them going through that region, but they're not sonas, they just already existed as characters half the time.
Currently I'm having a lot of fun with one oc that I purposely made for pokemon games, that started off in blue, and then after all his pokemon are killed, he ends up depressed, mum moves him to alola (this was my reasoning as to why everyone was extra friendly at the start and had to go to the trainer school and all that)
I found a shiny phantump in a friend safari once too! Completely by accident but I was sooo happy because I already adored phantump and then the shiny is just hhhh PERFECT colours by golly it's precious <3<3
Got so hyped up I actually drew my new shiny phantump in the 3DS notes just because I had to draw the little guy right then and there heh
I actually dislike trevenant (design wise...move set wise is eh too I only got one for my pokedex it's not worth the effort to even evolve imo, plus the one flaw of phantump is that it's not an evolved one so it's hard to use but I'd REALLY like to use phantump in competitive play ;-
So pleased it evolves by trade due to that, never have to worry about it evolving on accident. c:

Celebi is fantastic, I love it too (though its more in like top 50 for me), the movie with celebi in it was one of the best ones they've done imo
Unfortunately I don't think my top favs would transfer very well into a team, you've got a much better selection of favourites! xD
