Some old vent art I did a while ago and decided to finally finish. I originally sketched this out when I was feeling very lonely and just felt like no one would ever truly love me or care about me to the same extent that I did for them. I've had people in my life that swore up and down that they cared about me, but would then go on to either forget about me once someone else came along or distance themselves once I did something that displeased them. which I of course never knew I did until I would be like "yo man what the hell is going on?" and they would tell me "oh you this , that, and another" and i would just be like well thanks for waiting till now to tell me, it's not like I've been sitting here worrying or anything. (and it was usually petty shit as well) Or I would have someone try to befriend me just for thr soul purpose of using me.

I'm not an object dammit, I'm a person. and just because I can keep my emotions in better than you doesn't mean I don't feel them. Just because I've never shown them to you, doesn't mean they don't exist.

sorry for the random emotion vomit. But something else I do wanna say, I know valentine's was a few days ago, and I know alot of people were probably feeling really down and lonely. Just know, thats perfectly fine, it's okay to be lonely and it's okay to feel sad about it. let yourself feel those emotions, don't keep them in. It doesn't make you weak, or pathetic, or shallow it makes you human.
