I didn't think anything could make my day and then I found something my mom bought for me for my birthday ...charcoal! No, this is not done in black on white paper and then edited. I wanted to try white charcoal on black paper, and (yay!) it turned out better than I expected for a first try.Sure is different trying to draw only highlights and no shadows...
(quick sketch done from several partial models in my anatomy/physiology book.)

*mild surprise* Why thank you! I have a friend that's supposed to lend me her sister's old violin sometime(evidentally she hasn't played it in years...),so hopefully I'll get a shot at that. Aaahh, reflections in white charcoal. I'm looking forward to that.
