I told myself "One last page before bed" and this was a perfect one. Maybe it's the ridiculously high-quality art work, maybe it's the beauty of how you did the candle light and facial expressions, or maybe it's just that it's 1 am and I'm as delirious as the Doctor, but whatever it is, this page made me laugh absurdly hardΒ "Also, try not to step on the doctor" had me laughing so hard that it woke my dog and now she's looking at me funny.

Slightly related story. Β I had a roommate in college who would take huge, month-long assignments and wait until the weekend before they were due to get started. Β He would disappear into his room with a two-liter bottle of soda and come out 2-3 days later with a completed project... and looking a bit like the doctor here. Β Then he'd sleep for 24 hours straight.

That said, I really do adore this comic. Everything about it, from the story line to the characters, is done so well to the point where it's physically challenging to step away from reading. Speaking of characters, by god do I just downright looooove Elly; she is so endearing and fleshed out wonderfully!Β
