Description Eh, I'll think about a better title later on. My mind doesn't function well past 1am.

This was a hw assignment for our inking class that I just editted in photoshop. I inverted it because I don't like how the original looks like. >_> Really. I sorta went overboard with it, which I tend to do almost all the time. I should really learn when to stop or else I'd ruin the pic even more. (- -);

If you can't really make out the picture, it's a girl holding a top hat and throwing cards and a guy swinging a chain attached to a pocket watch. You can't really see much of the pocket watch because the image was somehow cropped wrongly when I scanned it and I'm too lazy to scan it again. The idea is completely random and serves no meaning at all.

Tools: Dr. Ph Martin's waterproof india ink, watercolor brushes, nibs, and Photoshop. [I'm starting to get so into dry brush technique.]
Estimated time: 2-3 hours with lots of breaks and procrastination.

Never say never! I saw your gallery and I can see much potential in your photoshop skills. All artists had to begin somewhere, just takes practice and time. (: I'm still trying to improve my skills.

Also..thank you. (:

I like this, there is a nice flow to the characters. Cool color scheme, red (or I guess thats orange-red, maybe) always work for any occasion.

Yeah, I wanted to add more of an extreme contrast since the original was all iffy in my opinion. >_>

Wow...this one is incredible! Again I love the inverse effect! The chains are new to your usual art crazes like strings, bandages, peaches, etc. lol I love the feel of this piece. Great Job sis!

I've used chains in a lot of my pieces. I just never actually scanned them. >_>
