Description
So this was a little side project I decided to take on. Wasn’t going to spend very much time on it. Then oops, spent a week on this illustration. The background and foreground don’t have as much detail as I’d like to have done but I’d long passed the time I was willing to spend and as usual, mostly for fun anyhow.
Anyways this is the final scene in a little comic I did about 3 years ago. Wanted to do a little wrap up. It’s only four pages long:
As explanation, it didn’t work out very well for the wolves. Herla is Fae and her special inborn magic is to be uncatchable. The magic of The Wild Hunt, lures hunters into the chase, a spell they cannot escape and ultimately they run themselves to death. As these wolves did. Poor wolves.

Fffff this looks absolutely amazing with the poppies. I still can't stop staring at Herla's beautiful feathers, she seriously needs to share her shampoo brand with Genty, cause, that volume. ;D

ROFL, I think it might have been more like, 3 hours painting feathers, two working on skulls, ha! But painting feathers and fur is something I actually find very soothing and enjoy doing. No not fun if you are in a rush and lack time with a deadline to meet. But otherwise quite relaxing for me!

I guess I can tell that drawing Herla's butt-foof was fun, judging from the detail and light-streaks in it. Her gold markings reminds me of.. 'playful' water? They really do draw my attention to them. B]

Yes, butt floof always gets a lot of attention ha! And yeah the background was a bear, I pretty much didn’t know if it was actually going to work at all, worried the whole time I was wasting my time and it was just going to be a mess and not make sense. Maybe it doesn’t make sense still. XD

Indeed! Though I do see the fur detail around her chest and stomach too, so they're not forgotten! About the background, it looks as if it's emphasizing this energy(?) radiating from Herla, which means if that was the point, you've got that down pat.
The main thing is I can tell the difference between the 'sky' and the ground, so that's something that makes sense. As in I thought that a background sure was a nice touch to it.
