Sugar sheets, freehand. Used a toothpick, paring knife, and vodka for detail. Thanx!

How did you get the icing all smooth and perfect? I would love to make these myself!

Base layer of royal icing, layers of cut sugar sheets bound and detailed with vodka. It melds together in the finished product and looks a bit like pure icing.
