Description This is a photograph I take of a scarlet ibis in corkscrew swamp in southwestern florida. I was extremely lucky to see a bird like this seeing as they are native to Brazil. They are VERY seldom seen in the US at all. In anyevent, I obviously took advantage of the situation I like this photograph alot. The ibis was standing in a relativly dark area, so I used a flash to illuminate the bird itself and tried to keep the background dark as much as I could.

beautiful! the red tone against the black background is just so lovely its amazing. and the way its sitting makes it even prettier..
