I know you want to enlighten me with thoughts borne by the Dark Ages.

And I wish I didn’t know.  I wish it was easy.

The best I can promise is thinking more about thinking less—and naturally, that’s no good for your true believer. Because it doesn’t matter if I believe or don’t believe in something higher, if I have purpose, if I have love…

What matters is I don’t believe in you.

And I’ve hurt your pride, not God’s—He has better things to do than worry about His self-esteem.
Isn’t it lonely in your one truth?  Maybe if you weren’t so scared of me…

A melodramatic child, a screw up, a feeble and obsessive compulsive soul searcher—how frightening is that? I can’t even make non-sticky spaghetti and I’ve shattered your world to pieces…and just because I don’t think “God said so”.

While you’re in a quoting mood, I’d like to point out that the phrase is “lead by example” not by crusade.

It doesn’t matter.

Tomorrow I’ll be okay and I’ll forgive you. And you’ll have to wake with the (I would hope) sorrowful knowledge that you’ve damned yet another soul to Hades or wherever they're sending people nowadays.

Now you’re upset.  All you’ve understood is I’m against faith—another heathen.
A blaspheme that wishes we could just practice in peace, that we can be safe in our beliefs, that we can we be different.

I’m so against faith, all I want is to cradle it…and you want it to burn in Hell.
