I was going through my files the other days and stumbled across a year-old Snape drawing that I somehow forgot to post... So I thought I'd correct the oversight. This was created for Snapecase on LJ, a fest that portrays Snape at all stages of his life. "Into Darkness" was made for Category Four (31-40 years old).Media: Staedtler pens, Pentel brush pen and watercolour on Daler-Rowney drawing paper.

I'm normally quite bad at dark/light; this is one of the few times when I could actually make it work

I had been about to ask if Snape and Dumbledore had just been arguing, but then I saw Dumbledore's face ... he's asleep, isn't he? He looks peaceful, anyway ... Snape doesn't; good contrast! I love the light and shading on his robes

This is the impression with which I came away from Deathly Hallows - Dumbledore is quite at peace with his own manipulations; Snape, who is on the receiving end, has trouble with his conscience. I really can't stand Dumbledore anymore since the last book - and he used to be one of my absolute favourites...
