Couldn't help noticing your username, and clicked it to find out about you

Your work is amazing, sir. I just clicked a random image cause I simply couldn't choose which to comment on. How much time did this take you? It looks very detailed, and I can't really tell how big this is.

You have an unique style and I would definitely recommend you to keep it up :3

Thanks for viewing and the kind comments, this piece was worked on sporadically over 4 or 5 months i believe.

I wish I was keeping up with it, unfortunately my personal art has taken a backseat to my job and freelance work on the side.

You're welcome! And jeez, that is a long time...

I hope you'll work something out. As long as you don't force yourself to make art :3

it wasnt my direct intention to create a native american feel...however my art is often based on my instincts and intuition, as theirs often was...also these colors probably create that feeling too

this piece is not ball point..its done using micron ink pens which are felt tipped (i think)..they feel pretty similar to ball point for me and they come in a variety of thickness..i do use ballpoint a lot though..many of my pieces are entirely in ballpoint and it is one of my fav tools

Very nice! I get kind of a native-american feel from it. I wonder if that was intentional. But I'm curious - this looks like ballpoint pen to me. Is it? That's my primary tool when drawing, and it seems somewhat rare that I meet others who use it extensively.

Ive never decided to give up the time necessary for me to view a fullsize dev of 1mb or over before. I suppose thats a feflection of my tastes, as much as it is a reflection of how refreshing and exciting this piece is. It seems you only submit work you feel is excellent, while I see the sense in this, I like to see as many examples of someones work as possible as it gives a better idea of what goes in, and also keeps everyones brains ticking. Whichever path you choose, I'll still be devwatching you.

very unique piece. I love the overall chaos and the randomness. Intricateness is very good as well, i like it alot because it doesnt have a definite shape to it. This is definately a favorite.

Thanks so much for sending me a note, my devwatch is ska-roood.

Sweet! This piece has that same great "abstract with a hint of objectiveness" that I have come to know and love in your b&w work; but then you took it to the next level by adding this complex depth with all the color, great work. At my first glance I thought there were numerous amounts of color, but on closer inspection I see that you only used primary colors, I really like that effect. It made me think of things like a cutaway into electronic circuitry, or just some sort of unexplainable alien curiosity. My favorite part has got to be the ring in the bottom right hand corner that the design runs up through, I love the look of that. Keep em comin' !

You have come quite some distance since I last left you. Your work now seems to breach the very ether that these designs come from. You are not too far off by saying it is what your soul sings of. I am working on a book/tome of sorts that details art such as yours. Art which most people seem to overlook and dismiss far too quickly. It is good to see you are listening to your heart and mind. Keep up the excellent work my friend.

This is awesome. I guess it's because it's the first coloured work I've seen of yours, and like the guy mentioned above me, it does bring out immense depth in piece. Great work.

Nice colouring job captain. You've got a pretty good sense of line & shape. I like this one (compared to the other non-objective designy works) mostly because the colour & gradience really brings some serious depth & dimension to the overall composition. The best bit is the torus shape on the lower right hand side.
Toot the goddamn trumpets! We've got a real piece of work here.

Sometimes a piece of art speaks for themselves, and they say, "you don't need to flatter me, I know I'm beautiful".

This is one of them pieces.
