I don't really get many to be honest
during the whole time I've been around dA, I had more pony commissions in 1 year than I ever had at this main account for 7 years

So from my understanding, you're either lucky to be a super neat artist that people love, or you make loads of fanart to get watchers. I have less than 10 fanart pieces (if my memory is correct because I'm on the phone and can't check
Other than that, regular stuff I submit, OCs/art trades/commissions have less than 20 favorites and that's because I submit some to groups. And seeing people who use traced bases or even at a really lower skill than mine getting more attention and support....it just makes me want to crawl into a hole and not art anymore. It doesn't feel worth the effort and time I place into each of them. :/
