Well, Foxfur seems to be very popular actually, and is drawn by fans a lot. I don't know if you ever been to the official forum (the Scrolls at elfquest.com), or you might find a few pictures over at the Elfquest fanart site. [link]

I don't actually know ElfQuest, but I love this picture, it reminds me of some of the places I would go in my mind as a kid, and meet the same kind of people-... beings.

Beautiful art, again. It always used to bother me seeing other artists try to draw Wendy's characters -- that was back before I had been initiated into the world of fandom, and fan artists, esp for anime. It still bothers me a bit in the Elfquest fandom (old prejudices are hard to break, I guess) but I would have no trouble looking at yours, as they are so good and so close to the look and feel of Wendy's original art. That's a lovely scene.

You know, I'm the same when it comes to ElfQuest! I don't know why... I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but I guess I alwys thought most of the EQ fanart was crap. People try to imitate Wendy's style and some people just can't pull it off, and the elves end up looking like aliens or just really weird. Plus ElfQuest holds such a special place in my heart, as does Wendy and her lovely art, that I guess I've been protecting myself from bad art and fanfiction. I was actually a little afraid to try to capture her style when I began to do my own ElfQuest art the other night, because it can be ruined so easily. But I'm so glad you like my drawing
