Description This is a little more rushed than I'd like. Basically Clayton from Tarzan shot the beast while T.A. was fixated with the amulet and in death the Beast has returned to human form, like the Invisible man. Really that shouldn't have happened because all the dead servants are still crockery and the like. I'm trying to spot all the plot holes before you do.

Who is that guy with the shotgun? That guy from "Tarzan"? (Clayton?...)
By the way, what's written on Quasi's sword? Is it of any importance?

Yep! It's Clayton (I didn't really know what to do with him, but I had to get at least one Tarzan character in here somewhere)

Oh! And it is of importance! He's got Wart's sword from the Sword in the Stone (which is probably also the same sword as the one in the Black Cauldron and the Sword of truth in Sleeping Beauty) and the words are "Whoso pulleth out this sword from this stone and anvil shall be crowned...something, Kind of England" or something along those lines. It's what the narrator says at the start of the Sword in the Stone

BEAST! Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwman.

You can really see how you've got better since you first started. You have done some spiffing arts here.

Every story has at least one plothole or another. Don't worry about it.

Besides, some of the staff might not have died, but left to save their lives and start anew somewhere else.

Oh yes! How nice for them. There are a lot of plot holes in Beauty and the Beast concerning time and the servants anyway. Do you think Mrs.Potts is too old to mother a cupboard full of children?

Well, if an older woman does get pregnant, the pregnancy is very risky. Birth defects and miscarriages does increase with the mother's age.

It would be unlikely, but not impossible. I would say that if Mrs. Potts is still fertile and able-bodied enough to have children, it would probably not be a cupboard full of children.

She also could've had children before she was turned into a teapot. That explanation would explain why there were so many teacups. The French people do have large families.

Very true! It's still quite strange though. My friends and I have chewed over this before. In the prologue, the narrator says the rose will bloom until his 21st year - I took this to mean his 21st birthday, not his 21st year as a beast. But then Lumiere says during Be Our Guest that they've been rusting for 10 years. So...the beast was 11 when he was cursed? Also we think the beast ages but his servants don't because Chip is most certainly not older than 10.

Perhaps. I've always thought Chip was Mrs. Pott's grandson.

I said that it might be possible for Mrs. Potts to bear children because human fertility is unpredictable.

I've never noticed that before. It's been years since I last saw that movie.
