So yee, I found this cute group www.deviantart.com/nephfei (a species by Queijac ) and found out that they had a NPC design contest sooooooooo- shop boi

I REALLY like how the hair came out somehow, also he looks a bit as if he‘d work in a coffee shop, oopsie

anyways, I hope you‘ve got a cup of tea and some cookies while I‘ll write his story and such, cuz there‘s gonna be A LOT. *unnecessarily clears throat*

personality:
Nathan is a really calm Centicorn. He doesn’t want anybody to feel uncomfortable around him, so he tries to act the best way the costumer would like him to be. He can be a bit dreamy sometimes, which doesn’t really help it, but he‘s doing his best. He‘s really superstitious (I googled this word, I’m not sure) so he always carries his lucky charm clovers with him, or better, sticks them in his hair. Even as a child he always behaved because he was pretty naive and would believe EVERYTHING (Like If you’d tell him, he must only wear blue things or else he’ll have bad luck, he’ll do it. He‘s slowly learning not to believe everything that easily but yeah). That’s pretty ironic, because his birthday was on a Friday the 13th. Overall, he loves accesoires, especially bird feathers (see story). Strange objects or new things in general really interest him, well everything, but magic involved things. He isn’t against centicorns who permanently use magic (that‘d be against his calm nature) but he just thinks, it‘s not ALWAYS necessary. Sometimes it scare him a little, when he sees his customers using magic around his precious products. As thought, he actually never really uses his magic abilities, which may make him stand out from the rest.

story:
Nathan was born near a forest which was the home of a pretty magic interested centicorn herd. His parents noticed his low passion for the arts of this subject and wouldn’t push him into it. Well, his friends teased him a little about it, but you know, children. Thanks to the openness of his parents and his general carefree life, Nathan spend a lot of his time in the nature. His interests were all about it, from watching birds to sketching plants, what is why his first idea was becoming a biologist. he‘s got
a big interest for his avian neighbors, a little Harpip Family. Besides his admiration of birds, he liked the way how the Harpips were really outgoing and cheery. Time flew by and Nathan became bigger. In his teen years, he met a traveler Centicorn. It was an old female merchant, who was traveling across the whole land, to collect objects and other findings, to return back to her home town to sell them. It wasn’t her first time doing that, so she had hundreds of stories from her adventures and the unique people she met, while staying at Nathan‘s and his parents home, who offered her to stay there for a few days. Nathan was fascinated by the merchants story and exactly knew what he would do when he has grown up. He‘ll become a merchant, who‘d travel the whole land to offer his customers the best items he could find. At the age of 19, he left his home to fulfill his dream. In his first year apart from home, he explored Nephfei with a great eye for unique items. He‘d sell, trade and buy on his travel, but was never satisfied with his always switching business location. Eventually, he settled down in a small cozy shop in a little village. He‘s enjoying his time in there and meanwhile bounded to his little shop. Currently, he gets his restocks from another traveler, but he‘s looking forward to put the store‘s guide in another‘s hand one day and travel the beautiful lands of Nephfei again.
