Description I made two of these(facing opposite directions), one for each side of my jacket collar. The project was to produce a piece that could be mass laser cut and easily worked from that state into a final product.
This is all one piece, the pins which are slightly visible on the sides were cut along with the rest of the design and then bent and filed to shape. Standard brass backs like you get with military insignia were used.
I'm considering making a pendant piece of similar design but might need a little break. Cutting out one of these was enough for a long time, two was enough for the year.
The design was inspired in part by Maori spirals and the Fibonacci sequence as found in mollusk shells.

Tech spec- 18 gauge sterling silver sheet, hand cut with a jeweler's saw (I must really hate myself, eh?). 1 and 1/2 inch diameter.
