I try to keep my characters proportions within the realms of realism, or at least acceptable stylisation, unless there's a valid reason for not doing so - Lamia, for example, isn't human, so she's less limited by physiology, while Sophia here is very much human. I see a lot of pics on dA of women with breasts bigger than they are (in fact, I see a lot of those in the 'more from dA' section on several of my pieces) and while I'm not one to look down on anyone's fantasies or fetishes, that's one I definitely don't share!

Well, even though lamia in general aren't human, that doesn't mean that they aren't subject to little things like gravity! Or to put it another way, "even figments of the imagination have anatomies". 👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Even though I'm a hetero guy, I could never understand why some people (and not just guys, either! ) have a fetish for what I half-jokingly call "watermelon boobs". I try not to knock other people's fetishes either (glass houses and stones, right?), but still... whenever I see a woman with huge boobs, all I can think of is how severe her back problems must be! (I don't understand why many gay guys and more than a few straight/bi women like huge penises either, when there's only so much room inside a human body, but to each their own, I guess.
My Lamia isn't actually a lamia, though, she's a demigoddess who is named Lamia, and is thus slightly more resistant to gravity than usual
None of my other girls have that excuse, and so I try to keep them from snapping in half in a high wind
