Cloud Strife from the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII, sprited in 32-bit custom in honor of his famous motorcycle getaway scene depicted near the beginning of the game.

This part of the game was just simply awesome. Everyone else had found a truck to escape the city in, but nooooo! Cloud has to ride a freaking motorcycle out of Midgar instead! Why? Because he's a flipping badass! Not to mention, once you get on to the highway, all sorts of riding soldiers are coming at you from all sides to kill your friends, so what do you do? Slash their damn bikes to pieces! *sigh* Good memories...

On to the sprites themselves, I based this design off of an artwork I found in a video that had music I was listening to whilst spriting this to set the mood... you can find the video here:

I really wish I knew who drew that picture, because it's honestly one of the best artworks of the character I've ever seen, at least in his original outfit.

Will I advance on this sheet? Most likely. I wanna at least include his slicing animations before I call it quits on this sheet, because I had a ton of fun designing what you see there, and the outcome was just amazing, at least in my opinion.

Well, if you decide to use this sheet, until I finish it I demand permission. Once I finish it, it's just credits, but I don't want this on high traffic until I finish, so if you want to use it, note me for permission. I'm probably gonna say yes anyway, so there's really no harm in not asking.
