Description ha i finally finished it! this will be my future buster sword the design is based off of when Cloud put the first sword on his main buster sword in advent children while he was fighting kadaj in the forgotten city ajit
TOTAL DIMENSIONS-blade:56"x8" guard:4"x9" handle:16"x1.25"


P.S. "hekireki" is japanese for "thunder" or "thunder clap", as in the sound it will make when i hit something/someone with it

do you mind a critique?

the hilt should be about to lines shorter and the thing at the bottom of the hilt should be a little bit bigger you know like it he does a throwing motion it won't slip through his hands and so on and for some reason the edge of the blade looks a little weird oh and if you want to add he has bolts on the hand guard

but over all its great

The lines on the handle are a helix etching. Their a little more spread out than the sword from the movie, but I was doing this off a screen shot from before the movie actually came out The edge looks odd (mainly the tip) because I did it in SolidWorks 2005, which isn't meant to do swords so it didn't want to cooperate with me on multiple occasions I think I'll leave to bolts out, I thought of a couple ways to put them on the one I made but they were too iffy to risk damaging the sword.

Gasp! I'm going to make a sword out of wood too!!!(I already have a freakishly massive one....) But it's a katana for my Cosplay costume for Connecticon.
