A new line a weapons I'm doing that have all been made in SolidWorks. They're what my own personal weapons would be if I were to have my own custom set.One of 3 scythe designs I've drawn, this is my favorite. I credit and her design for Ren's scythe as inspiration

Tho I do like the head you did on this, I think scythes themselves make awkward weapons. Since its you, I'm sure you knew that. Out of general curiousity, is that the way the handle is supposed to be?

yes they are a rather awkward weapon. I've only seen them used 3 times: Gundam Wing, Soul Caliber 3, and Dynasty Warriors 4. I'm still contemplating ways to actually use one in a fight.
I'm not entirely sure which part of the handle you're talking about, but yes. Where it cocks back gives it a hooked area to help with grabbing whatever it is you're swinging at. While some may argue that it will only get you snagged in mid-swing, I look at it as taking control of your opponents movements....then killing them as you pull away

I mentioned it cause I was talking with people in the SCa about the possibility of using scthes as weapons and they didn't think it was easily accomplishable.

I see. If someone wanted to try it they'd have to spend A LOT of practice time just to get use to it and get the motions down before using it effectively in battle. It would have to be a professed weapon, not just something to do on the side. I'd be willing to try it, but I have more suitable weapons for myself to use.
