Description
Inspired by Hetalia I made an original character for Silesia in a historic uniform of the Schlesische Landwehr around 1814.
The flag on the right (silver/gold) is for the whole province of Silesia and the one on the left (gold/blue) is for Upper Silesia.
Silesia is not a country but was a larger region located partially in todays Germany, Poland and Czech Republic. It has it's own culture and even dialect or language depending on who you ask.

A Silesian will often tell you that they are Silesian, although they may be Polish or German in the first place. I know these things because my family is Silesian too.
They are hard-working, proud people that value traditions and family. I hope I could bring this across with this character design.

I drew this before seeing APH Czech Republic but coincidentally he looks a bit like a male version of her which is very fitting
