I miss drawing in this style.

I used to draw in this style ALL THE TIME (which I called "the Spindle style"...I was creating a 2D game in it with a character named Spindle. Plus the people I drew were kind of spindly, haha). I loved it, because it allowed me to mess with proportions and play with bright colors and stuff, but EVERYONE who saw it told me that I should "work on an original style," because they believed that I was just outright copying Tim Burton's style. But I wasn't! I was drawing like this far before I knew of Tim Burton and his work.

Don't get me wrong! I love his work. I just became really frustrated that no one gave me credit for my own style, so I ended up trying to make a new one.

But now, because of a friend I met here on dA who had the exact same problem (her name is o-w-l-y...go check out her page, her work is amazing! ), I'm going to try to return to my wacky Spindle style, and I'm going to try not to care about what people think. XD

So here goes! I'm excited!!

(Oh yeah. It says "MimsySnark" on the bottom because MimsySnark was the name of the dA account I had before this. Can you tell I like Lewis Carroll? XD)
